Retail Footfall Analytics

Know which stores convert, which are understaffed at 2pm Saturday, and which are underperforming, so you can lift profitability and service levels with counts you can trust.

Built for

Retail operations, network and data teams

You probably already have a counting system. It counts people who never came in, it drifts when the lighting changes, and when it breaks the fix sits in an overseas ticket queue. So nobody trusts the conversion rate and the roster still runs on last year's assumptions.

2degrees case study
Store counting in daily use across the 2degrees retail network
Operations: staff to real visitor curves
Roster to actual visitor curves by store, by hour, by day of week, so the right people are on the floor when customers are.
Network: conversion and store benchmarking
The same zone definitions and operating hours at every store, so you can compare stores fairly and act on the gaps.
Pulse joins visitors to sales and staff
Pulse Analytics connects to any POS and your rostering system, so visitors, transactions and staff hours sit together in one view, by store and by hour. Every store is checked against ground truth at commissioning and watched every day.

What you get

What’s included

  • Count Once virtual zones count genuine entries and ignore mall pass-through; direction-aware counting prevents double counts
  • Automatic backfill when a store drops offline, and manual backfill by the team after a power loss; gaps are flagged, never hidden
  • POS and roster integration: sales, transactions and staff hours alongside visitor counts, so conversion and staffing are measured in Pulse, not in a spreadsheet; warehouse delivery and an API are available for your own BI tools
  • Hardware assembled in-house on an OPEX rental, private 4G backhaul, and engineering support under an enterprise SLA
  • Optional Data Services: our data team builds dashboards across your counts, sales and rosters when the central data team's queue is too long
For your data team
  • Schema-stable tables delivered to Snowflake or your warehouse by API or CDC replication, in 15-minute intervals.
  • REST API and Pulse Analytics dashboards, or connect your own BI tool.
How it works

How a deployment runs

01
Network design

We map your sites, choose Count Pods or CCTV integration per location, and fit each pod with a lens for its mounting height.

02
Install

Count Pods mount overhead at each entrance, on the building's own power. CCTV integration runs on a lightweight CPU server inside your network.

03
Validate

Our engineering team loads a custom AI model for each site, then calibrates, tunes and ground-truths it against manual counts before go-live. All of it is done remotely.

04
Decide

Pulse Analytics dashboards, automated reports and the REST API put the data where your team already works.
