Casinos and integrated resorts need to know how many people are on each floor, in each venue and at each entrance, all day and all night. They do not need to know who those people are. Occupancy counting gives operations, security and venue teams a live number without identifying anyone.
Why occupancy matters on a gaming floor
A live occupancy figure by zone helps teams open tables and staff cages when demand builds, keep crowded areas within their limits, and plan for big nights. Over time, the same counts show how busy the gaming floor, restaurants, bars, hotel lobbies and event spaces are hour by hour, which helps every venue in the resort plan around the others.
Counting, not identifying
Facial recognition answers a different question and carries a different level of risk. Occupancy counting only detects movement and direction across a line or into a zone. Our software counts people, classifies them as people, and discards the video. No faces are matched, no images are stored, and no personal information is collected.
Use the CCTV you already run
Resorts already operate some of the largest camera networks in any building. Our counting software runs on a CPU server inside your network, against existing cameras, so nothing about the cameras or the surveillance system changes. Video does not leave your site. Where an extra counting point is needed, a Count Pod AI Sensor can be added.
Live occupancy by zone, with alerts
Pulse Analytics shows occupancy for each gaming floor, hotel lobby, food court and event space, updated continuously. Capacity alerts go to operations when a zone approaches its limit, so teams can act before it becomes a problem.
Counts that hold up
Every entrance and zone gets its own counting model, calibrated and checked against manual counts before go-live. Each sensor is then monitored continuously, and any gap in the data is flagged rather than hidden.
Data where your teams work
Counts can flow into your own data warehouse by API or CDC replication in 15-minute intervals, so occupancy sits beside gaming, hotel and food and beverage data in the reports your teams already use.
Questions resort operators ask
Do you use facial recognition? No. We count movement only, and no personal information is collected.
Can you use our existing CCTV? Yes. The software runs on a server inside your network, and nothing about the cameras changes.
Do you work with casinos in Australia? Yes. We work with casinos and integrated resorts across Australia and New Zealand, with installation, calibration and support from our own team.
